We are looking for a Pentium 90/100 MHz box that can run
NetBSD/FreeBSD/Linux. The motherboards that we are considering are:

Super P54VL-PCI 100/90 MHz, with 4 PCI, 2 VESA, and 5 ISA slots
(??OPTI 82C596,7??)

and

Premiere/PCI 90, with 2 PCI, 4 ISA, and 1 shared PCI/ISA slots

Does anyone have anything to say about these choices?
Are there any better ones?

We have heard that some, but not all, versions of the OPTI chipset may
cause problems. Does anybody know exactly which version(s) one should
avoid?
