One suggestion: there are a couple of different raw boot floppies, each having a subset of SCSI cards included. The one I have for NetBSD is 'ka-aha-09p1.fs'. It supports the 1542CF. I installed this some time ago, so there may be a later patch level I'm not aware of. One site I know for downloading: ftp.iastate.edu The NetBSD core team is supposed to release NetBSD 1.0 within the next few weeks. There is a new Boot/Install routine that has been developed but I don't know what it is. Anyone else know? >I just want to thank all those who offered suggestions. Glad to be of help. >-- >Eric V.
