It's giving me a fatal server error: >MIT-SHM extension disabled due to lack of kernel support > >FontPath is set to '/usr/X386/lib/X11/fonts/misc/, >+ /usr/X386/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/, >+ /usr/X386/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/,/usr/X386/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/' >Fatal server error: >could not open default font 'fixed' >because it is in none of the FontPath directories >XIO: fatal IO error 32 (Broken pipe) on X server ":0.0" > after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining. > The connection was probably broken by a server shutdown or KillClient. Anyone have a clue what's up? This is running on FreeBSD 1.1.5.1. I installed (as per the install notes) all of the files on xfree86.cdrom.com. -- bmk@teleport.com | "You need only reflect that one of the best ways to get Portland, OR | yourself a reputation as a dangerous citizen these days is | to go about repeating the very phrases which our founding | fathers used in the struggle for independence."-C.A.
