I am afraid not. I did it 2 weeks ago, and it has been working fine since then. The only trick is, to install binary distribution of 1.1R only and reboot it, then get a 'virgin' src-dist/ loaded(don't leave anything else there.). Get diff/ , UPGRADE.SH and run it, then 'make world'. Reboot again and rebuild your new kernel from scratch. If everything goes fine, you will get the new kernel. good luck, Franklin. -- Franklin S.
