But be warned, this works under FreeBSD-1.1, but not in 1.1.5 anymore.
You have to patch slattach to do it's work with 57600Bd. And you have
to patch tty.c to allow working with a line hung up by loss of carrier.
When you are changing slattach, you might also open the file
descriptors 0 and 1 for chat in slattach, so you won't need the ugly
redirects anymore. I have got it working in 1.1.5 now, at last.
