Date: 9 Aug 1994 11:00:42 GMT Organization: NASA Johnson Space Center, Houston, TX, USA Lines: 16 Message-ID: <327nkq$70q@pendragon.jsc.nasa.gov> NNTP-Posting-Host: killerbee.jsc.nasa.gov X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] I logged in as "root", while I was at "/usr" (by accident), I did: #find . -name "*o" -print -exec rm {}\; My intention was to remove all object files, another mistake "*.o", instead of "*o" (another mistake). Now I cannot do much, since ld.so was deleted (cannot tar, cpio.....). I tried to reload the OS from the floppy, because the drive already configured, it never asked for the "cpio" floppy. Without cpio floppy loaded, I cannot load thing back from the tape.... Anyway out????????????? thuy
