Dept., Warsaw Univ., Poland Lines: 33 Distribution: world Message-ID: <wgalazka.176.2E4221D2@chem.uw.edu.pl> NNTP-Posting-Host: caesar.chem.uw.edu.pl Summary: FreeBSD warnings during installation Keywords: FreeBSD X-Newsreader: Trumpet for Windows [Version 1.0 Rev A] Hi all, I have just installed FreeBSD 1.1.5.1 on my machine but.. during installation I got several warnings When the kernel boots with many other information about device drivers I got "sea: board type unknown at address 0xf000c8000" Didn't it like my VGA BIOS? :) Just when begin installation the system was unable to find a label of the harddrive and printed wd0: "Cannot find label (no disk label) " Every time during copying distribution sets from high density disketees from a: I got "fd0: readl failed ST0 70 <abnmrl seek_cmplt_equ_chek> cyl 0" but the copying process goes well Once I got the message "NMI port 61 60 port 70 ff port 461 60 the previous warning no more apeeared anymore. Can anyone tell me what these messages mean?
