Lines: 17 Message-ID: <32j6u7$6j9@spruce.cic.net> NNTP-Posting-Host: locust.cic.net I'm trying to get a NetBSD 0.9 kernel floppy to boot in a system with a BT445S (revision E -- so that should be one of the good ones). It is failing to recognize the card, and complains about "illegal DMA jumper setting" when the kernel loads. It doesn't panic, but never finds the adapter. I have been using the generic AHA kernel floppy. Should I be using the one with 1742/747 support in it instead? Could someone who is successfully using a BT445S card please email me your exact DIP switch and jumper settings? Thanks. -- Paul Southworth CICNet Systems Support pauls@cic.net
