I tried st01 with Wangtek SCSI drive (QIC) with FreeBSD 1.0,
but it didn't work at that time. I didn't connect HD, st01 was for
the tape drive only.
First, it had boot problem.
I don't remember correctly, since it was some time ago, but I'll try
my best in describing the problem.

1) Without any connection (no tape drive) to the ST01 controller,
FreeBSD 1.0 correctly recognized the controller and booted

2) I attached the Wangtek QIC SCSI tape drive with SCSI Terminator.
It wouldn't boot. It was stuck just after it recognized the
   controller.

3) Same as the above, but I started without the SCSI terminator.
Just after the system recognized the ST01 controller, I attached
the SCSI terminator. Then the system boot went on reporting the
   Wangtek Drive.
However, I couldn't make it work (i/o error or something like that).

It seemed to me at that time that FreeBSD's ST01/2 driver required
ID 0 device, which is HD. The tape drive's ID was set to 5 (if my
memory is correct).

I wonder whether FreeBSD 1.1.5 fixed this problem.
(I don't have the Wangtek drive any longer. It was my friend's.)

Thanks.
