Message-ID: <peter.713457194@hilly> Date: 10 Aug 92 14:33:14 GMT Organization: MicroMuse Limited, London, England. Lines: 28 Here is a list of things I would *love* to see in 386BSD, and would like to help with any of them - but I don't want to duplicate work: * Shared Libraries I bought a laptop, and until I get a 200Mb drive (soon) X is an impossibilty until shared libs are working. I have been playing with dld-3.2.3 and it works on 0.1, but this is entirely application level. * Seperated SCSI drivers Make life easy to add new SCSI controllers, and maybe support LUN's etc. * Multiport (ala FAS) serial drivers for simple multiport cards * FDISK and associated partioning utilities that run from BSD not-DOS. I hope this doesn't sound like too much whinging, as the system is amazingly stable for version 0.1, and if someone is already working on any of these then all the better, but I would like to help with any of the above (and also porting dp - dial up ppp) to 386BSD.
