I was using the mount command for a SCSI CD-ROM, and mine's a Mitsumi. :-) It's a different device, and I wasn't paying attention. Problem solved... but the ethernet still doesn't work. Any clues? You need to recompile your kernel with the correct values for your ethernet card configured in. Do a ``man config'' to figure out how to run config. If you still need help, check the various FAQ's. Since you're running FreeBSD, you'll probably want to look on freebsd.cdrom.com.
