How the *hell* does one get the ft driver to work properly???!! I have tried everything, tar, dump to about 6 different BRAND NEW tapes of varying brand names! I have spent approx 2 hours a piece reformatting them but still no luck! No matter what, ft always complains about a "unrecoverable write eror" and then the tape just spins forever..ft cannot be killed either. What gives?? I am using a Colorado Jumbo 250 btw. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Daniel Leeds FreeBSD dleeds@mcs.com salmacis =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
