It works really great except for one problem. We want to use X from remote terminals and hence we need to run XDM. This works find and we are able to use the machines X Client. There are two problems !!! 1) We want to have the system console in text mode and still run XDM. At the moment as soon as you start "xdm-nodes" TWM is started on the console and then you presented with an X Login window. This is great but does not quiet suit our needs. We would like to run text mode on the console. a) Is it possible to run xdm and text mode on the console ? b) How do you do it ? 2) We would rather run FVWM than TWM, but when you start xdm it defaults to TWM. a) How do we change this ??? ie set the default window manager to FVWM ? b) Is then some cofiguration file or something that you can change for settings up things like this ?
