: Well, I hardly ever use it, even for non-ANSI stuff, but do totally
: disable any ANSI-ness of gcc, use:

Since you people don't seem to know about xfm (the X File Manager), I would
like to recommend it warmly. The newest package I found is xfm-1.3.tar.gz,
it builds under BSDI without problems and works very nice.

There's one potential pitfall though: make sure that the shell to which
the various actions (default, drag&drop) are given for execution is NOT
the bash (I am using sh for that) because it does not seem to understand
commands like:

	bash -c 'exec what_ever $1' file.name
