The BUG In FreeBSD UNIX:

In the 486DX2 50 MHz computer with Trident 512K Video Graphic Array
Adapter, I have the visible cursor only in first line of the screen
in text mode (on console), but if i use another videoadapter (for
example HUALONG SVGA 256) cursor is always visible. Why ? Is this a
special feature of Trident SVGA or it is a bug in FreeBSD screen device
  initializing ?
Please answer on my E-mail: adel@civt.kazan.su
