The preferred method is that people type in ppp and then the tty switches to ppp, like annex's do. Folks come in via hardwired lines. However, when I start ppp it complains that it cannot get the tty it works on as the controlling tty. Are there people offering such a service, and if so, what did they modify? (btw: I am using a FreeSBD 1.1R system together with the pppd that comes with it) -Guido -- Stichting Internet Access Eindhoven, voice: +31-40-438330, data: +31-40-439436 P.O. 928, 5600 AX Eindhoven, The Netherlands Full Internet connectivity for only fl 35,- a month.
