This is due to a hardware bug in the imitation 16550 uarts. The patch has been posted a couple of times to the net. I have archives of several different versions for this problem. I'm not sure which of these is the definitive one else I would repost it. If you can't get it elsewhere Email me and I will send you one or all of them ;) Steve -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- stever@babbage.cba.csuohio.edu "What's better than a free OS?"
