Come now, you HAVE to admit that there is more software precompiled for
Linux than there is for *BSD.  Heck, there is more software in the Slackware
distribution than there is precompiled for *BSD.  FreeBSD's bindist doesn't
even come with elm.  If precompiled software is important to you, definitely
stay with Linux.

FYI, I currently run Linux, FreeBSD and BSDi's BSD/386 here.  All of them
have their strengths and weaknesses.
