Now, now - as soon as we start loosing, we get into name calling. Tsk, tsk... Nobody thought anything of Bill. My beef with you started when this guy asked what OS he should run on his PC, in order to connect via slip/ppp to his office computer. It was a simple FreeBSD vs. NetBSD opinion question. *You* told him to wait unitl 386BSD1.0 came out... (and probably cross posted your answer). The way I see it, with that post you: -were implying that the OS's we run are crap, compared to 386BSD. -were *telling* people to run (or wait to run) an unfinished OS that might or might not be bug free. Furthermore, the announcements that you cross post to half the world, give the impression that besides 386BSD there is no other good alternative. At least you could be a bit more impartial, and acknowledge other people's work. And to top it all off, *none* of your posts have any content. Well except for the one, in which you stated that you are the floppy expert, and explained the ST0 70 error message. cheers and enjoy the weekend (oops! I meant typing in responses) alex P.S One request to you. Let's move this flamefest to e-mail... After all this is a development group and we should not bore folks!
