Just Right! I'm using -pipe since a long time ago and it works fine. It's fast, saves disk activity and on my 16 Mbyte box there are always some mega bytes unused. Just add it into /usr/share/mk/sys.mk. (I think it's sys.mk. I don't have the system here. Search for the -O option...) >wondering why it isn't the default. Me too. May be there is a single 4 Mbyte box used by somebody in the NetBSD core team who thinks this box should be the reference system. :-( > >-- >Heikki Suonsivu, T{ysikuu 10 C 83/02210 Espoo/FINLAND, >hsu@cs.hut.fi home +358-0-8031121 work -4513377 fax -4555276 riippu SN > Henry -- juengst@saph2.physik.uni-bonn.de [131.220.221.12] (internet) juengst@boss1.physik.uni-bonn.de [131.220.221.30] saph2::juengst [13.259] (decnet) Any opinions in this mail are my own.
