I saw something on this newsgroup a while back about the
stty -f /dev/ttyXX clocal
command being supplanted or not working (well, I figured the latter
out for myself!) in FreeBSD 1.1.5.1.

I thought I saved that message, but I guess I didn't. I remember
fuzzily that the answer was something to do with new /dev files, (like
/dev/cuXX)?

I've looked in all the on-line places that I can think of, but it
seems that even the source tree for -current isn't about as I write
this.

So, I give up. What's the trick?

Thanks.
