Please remember though that 386bsd is an : > *experimental Operating System*. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Given what we've had so far, I think that the word EXPERIMENTAL is incorrect. 386BSD should be called a DEMONSTRATIONAL OPERATING SYSTEM. In other words, there is a CD with lots of explanation about how to write an operating system, and it comes complete with code that can actually be booted to demonstate the points made in the documentation. The code may well not be the latest and greatest, nor the fastest, etc etc, but it does in fact boot in order to make the point (rather than using psuedo-code). -- =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Thumper! thumper@netcom.com Flying Fish Racing FishTek Racing Products Everywhere in the Southwest Custom machining and fabrication And sometimes just "out there!"
