Hey, I actually *have* one of those (an A540)..  There's even a
project to port FreeBSD to it.. :)

But you're right - it is a good analogy.  A number of really good and
innovative ideas, but all done THEIR OWN UNIQUE WAY, JUST TO BE
DIFFERENT!  Those silly brits..
