I pulled out the card and made sure that all the settings, including the DMA, match the kernel config line. I don't believe that DMA 5 is an 8 bit DMA channel, as I understand it, the only 8 bit DMA channels are 0-3, 4-7 are the 16 bit DMA channels. But I did try DMA channel 7, the default, and found that I still have the same problems. Yung Hsu yh29@andrew.cmu.edu BTW I don't think I made it clear that I'm running FreeBSD 1.1.5.1, just in case anyone wants to know.
