I just went through this problem this week while trying to
install. After making/remaking the disks a couple of times
on the machine I was installing on, I got another set of
new disks, and created the disks on the OS/2 PS/2 machine
in my office. When using these install disks, the install
went smooth. Maybe the 3.5" floppy on the install machine
(Gateway 486/25) is really crappy. I dunno. Hope this helps!
