In general, the sound is great on the SUN and really distorted on the 486. Has anyone else noticed a lot of distortion when playing ulaw sound files? I'm running FreeBSD 1.1.5.1 and have a Thunder Media Audio Spectrum (which is supposed to be part for part the same as a PAS). I've swapped out speakers, so it's not that. I'm prepared to believe that my cheapo soundcard is at fault, but I'd like confirmation. -brian ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ __ Brian Ellis |_ _ . | | _ | _ _ .__ .__ _ _ .__ (303)546-1521 |_) | | @ |_\| (_| (_| | (_ (_) ||| ||| .
