The easiest way of doing this is to have 3 partitions set up as roots on the same BIOS partition, and use the BSD bootblock to select them. (they each have different /etc/fstabs and can have their /usr partitions spread among the other drives.. they can of course all mount each other's roots as extra partitions so that if you f*ck up one you can boot from another root part and fix it.. e.g. sd(0,a)386bsd <==========(FreeBSD 1.1.5) sd(0,e)netbsd <==========(NetBSD) sd(0,f)kernel <==========(FreeBSD 2.0) julian +----------------------------------+ ______ _ __ | __--_|\ Julian Elischer | \ U \/ / On assignment | / \ julian@tfs.com +------>x USA \ in a very strange | ( OZ ) 300 lakeside Dr. oakland CA. \___ ___ | country ! +- X_.---._/ USA+(510) 645-3137(wk) \_/ \\ v
