I've been reading and experimenting with the suggestions regarding
sio0-3. My machine has an internal modem on sio0 (not found), a mouse at
sio1 (found, but it's a mouse), and an available port at sio2 (not
found). I don't have the full source distribution yet, and some of the
suggestions refer to sio.c, so I can't try those. Running sh MAKEDEV
ttyd0 (and cua00, and others) doesn't set up the port.

But I found that, even though my printer is found on lpt1, the lpr
command won't run. The port is valid because I can cp to /dev/lpt1 and
the text prints.

So, I guess the first question is, should I get the complete src
distribution and massage the kernel for the serial ports?

Second, is there a problem with lpr?

Third, I'm getting the distribution from wuarchive. Should I get it
elsewhere?

Thanks for any help/faq pointers.
