I have this line in /etc/login.access +:ALL:his.sb.fsu.edu and the appropriate entry in .rhosts for no password checking. (I also put an entry into hosts.equiv, even though most systems ignore this for root rlogin). But the system asks me for a password and then disallows the login anyway. Is there someway to allow root rlogin? (What I actually need is rcp and rsh permission for another host to send a passwd file to this machine and rebuild the FreeBSD passwd data base. We don't use nis or rdist). Thanks for help or pointers. -- Mike Sloderbeck, FSU Structural Biology sloderb@sb.fsu.edu 904-644-0593 (voice) 904-657-8252 (digital pager)
