I am unable to use the patch supplied as it relates to version 1.5.1.1 of FreeBSD and at present I am unable to change over from 1.1R. If possible I would appreciate help with the following: * the nature of the fault in the SMC chipset. * a working patch to 1.1R to allow the serial ports to function. Thank you for your assistance Maurice Castro -- Maurice Castro | "In hardware engineering, Ohm's maurice@bruce.cs.monash.edu.au | law and Maxwell's equations pale | in importance and influence next | to Murphy's Law" Gordon Bell
