I must be doing something terribly wrong to not be able to slip my machine
from home in...:) I dial the terminal/slip server thru kermit, then I get
an IP for me the gateway, and the netmask. The routed is already started
with the -s option, and I have the gateway address in the /etc/gateways file.
So then I ifconfig sl0 MYIP HOST<--of which is also the gateway, then I type
slattach -s 19200 <a few others here for rts.cts and no icmp packets> /dev
/tty01, then kermit hangs up the phone. Cananyone give me a clue as to what
I may or may not be doing wrong the man page is not all that specific about
slip, or could someone point me to a FAQ that would answer these questions.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
              -Robert
