After installation of NetBSD v1.0BETA on my Micropolis 1.7G (model 2217) fsck
randomly fails with a message "Unexpected inconsistency, please run fsck
manually". Ok, so I run fsck manually to discover several "DUPS" which later
during the fsck results in several random files being blown away.

The SCSI card is a 1542CF. DMA transfer rate set to 5.0 M/sec.

Has anyone succesfully used a model 2217 with NetBSD? This drive worked
fine with Linux (I do not remeber having a single problem during fsck) but
seems to fail with NetBSD.

Any help would be great! My computer is just about useless until this
problem is fixed. I certainly is not interested in doing any development
of any sort in fear of losing files which I am working on. It is beginning
to look like I will be reinstalling Linux since it seems to have a more stable
filesystem.
