I have done xhost +, as well as set the DISPLAY variable. The app runs on the other machine, but never gets displayed What is the problem ? I've seen that startx says "MIT-SHM disabled due to lack of kernel support", could this be the problem ? Any help appreciated psauer@rkw-risc.cs.up.ac.za
