Using a AHA 1542c, and it reboots not even halfway through the install, not
sure if it is my cyls and head settings or what... definitely a problem fer
me :)

: NetBSD-1.0 is definitely incredibly more robust in every area,
: including SCSI and IDE drive support.

Hum, I was just told that NetBSD does not support more than 16 meg of RAM
with a SCSI controller, is this true with ANY version of NetBSD? (1.0 or
whatever). If this is the case I need to know, cause I would be wasting my
time installing it on a scsi since I require alot more than 16 meg of ram :)

: If so, what alternitive OS is
: there that will have the same features as NetBSD?

: NetBSD-1.0. Last I heard, it is supposed to be out on the ftp sites
: this week or next. Keep watching comp.os.386bsd.announce, and/or
: ftp.iastate.edu.

Will keep ana eye-ball out. If I do find that the SCSI memory problem is
true I will have to wait for a new IDE drive anyway...

: If you absolutely can't wait, you could try to dig up a copy of
: FreeBSD 1.5.1.1.

Never never again :)

Thanks for your information, if you can help clear up the memory romour
please do :)
