     How does minicom compare to ecu?  I've got ecu 3.32 limping along
under 1.1.5.1, but ecu refuses to interpret its startup script (_rc.ep),
and I haven't had the time to look into this.  Having to manually change
various settings like flow control each time ecu is started, gets old
real fast ....
