I want to know if I can install FreeBSD 1.0 on a secondary IDE
controller? I have ran the install many times looking for a way to make
it look at my second controller, but it always just sees the drive on my
primary controller.

My system has a 212Mb drive on my primary controller, and 1 Gb and
540Mb drive on my secondary controller. (The 1st controller is dumb and
can't work as a secondary otherwise I'd just switch it over, and the 2nd
controller allows me to easily use the full capacity of the large drives,
so I can't put them on the 1st controller.)

I want to install FreeBSD on an extended partition (Is this
possible, or does it need to be a primary partition?) on the 1Gb drive.
Currently it is formatted as a DOS primary with OS/2 in an extended
partition. I am also using OS/2 Boot Manager to switch between the OS's
and would like to add FreeBSD to this if possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

                                                 Mike
