NetBSD already has four (more or less working) compat options (sunos, ultrix, svr4, ibcs2) and it has an excellent way of adding more of these. I'm sure FreeBSD has something similar. This would not also give us Doom until ID ports it (hopefully), but should give an ultimate answer to the Linux or BSD, which is better talk. Until of course Linux gets a COMPAT_*BSD :-). (No flames please, it's a joke!) I'll start reading the Linux docs today! PS.: I know it's not *that* easy. --- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |You are not expected to understand this | Szabolcs Szigeti | | -- Ken Thompson in swtch() -- | Internet: pink@fsz.bme.hu | =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
