I am installing a AHA-EISA 2742 controller with a MAXTOR P1-17S (1.7gig)
drive. We have 32 meg of ram and the machine is a 486/50 EISA board.
This controller isn't supported, and probably never will be. It's in
the FAQ, and has been beat endlessly on the newsgroups...
If you can, see if you can trade it in on a BusLogic controller...
