I would like to get a Pentium system to run {Free|Net}BSD on. What
are the advantages to getting a motherboard with onboard SCSI?
Are there any onboard SCSI chipsets supported by {free|Net}BSD?
Does anyone have a vendor list who sells Pentium motherboards with
the SCSI chipset? I was hoping to get a PCI motherboard with the
onboard SCSI chipset to save some money. This system will be quiet
barebones to begin and I will add as money comes in.
Are there motherboards that will let me start with
a 60mhz pentium and upgrade to the 90mhz chips? I know the chips
require different voltages but I thought perhaps someone had designed
a motherboard to accept both chips.
Thanks for ANY help you can throw my way. I can post a summary if there
is interest.
