Sorry if this is a FAQ. Is there a problem with booting Tiny 386BSD
on a machine with IDE primary and Adaptec SCSI secondary disk controllers?
Here's my configuration:

AMI 386/25c w/8MB
16-bit Seagate IDE primary controller
200MB Conner IDE drive & both 1.2 & 1.44MB flops
Adaptec 1542B secondary
Quantum 100MB SCSI drive (SCSI ID 0)
Seagate 350MB SCSI drive (SCSI ID 1)
Viper QIC150 streamer (SCSI ID 4)

I get the following screen full:

The SCSI bus busy light goes on solid and stays that way - system is
hung hard. Have to power down to reset the Adaptec card. No SCSI devices
are ever "ping"ed. This configuration works fine with INTERACTIVE UNIX
System V/386 v3.0 so hardware is OK and terminated correctly, etc.

I have jumpered the Adaptec BIOS off because the ISC driver directly
supports the card - does Tiny 386BSD need them? I have also jumpered
off the floppy controller part of the 1542B because the IDE card has one
and have jumpered up the DMA speed on the 1542B one notch above default
to 5.7MB/s. Again, all works fine on ISC 3.0 and MS-DOG.

Suggestions or anyone running something similar?
