We connect to our server via slip to their cisco terminal server. Slipup doesn't seem to recognize the prompts from the terminal server and doesn't log in. Therefore we have to manually dial into it and we have no checking to make sure that it is attached. If for some reason we lose our connection, I have to re dial with another machine and move the cable back to the bsd box. (Not fun) I have had problems with zmodem getting a lot of errors. I think this is because our dialin lines are at 7-E-1. How would I change them to 8-N-1? My users have complained that the IRC client does not have all the features of other IRC clients. Specifically the /dcc command. Someone told me that this may have been commented out in the when this was made for the distribution. We don't have the source for this so I cant verify it. I don't know this UNIX material like the back of my hand, it is all new to me. I have had problems getting things to compile on my machine and I don't know if I am doing something wrong or not! Please email me with any help! Thanks Shane Young shane@btm.com
