Granted I think they should have tailored thier posts for the different newsgroups, but it looks appropriate to me. What I can't figure out is why this was posted to comp.sys.sun.misc. Also, it was bad to crosspost to both comp.unix.misc and comp.unix.admin. Normally posts should just go to one or the other. Bill
