Alright. Another dumb question.

I've been trying to get some fax software going under
	NetBSD-0.9.

I got flexfax-2.2.1 built, no problems there, using
	gmake.

The problem is when I do this:

		gmake install

	And I get this:

	mkfifo: //var/spool/fax/FIFO: Operation not supported
chown: //var/spool/fax/FIFO: No such file or directory
chgrp: //var/spool/fax/FIFO: No such file or directory
chmod: //var/spool/fax/FIFO: No such file or directory.
	gmake: *** [makeDevices] Error 1

immediately after gmake tries this stunt:

	sh ./port/bsdi/install.sh -u uucp -g dialer -m 600 -fifo \
        -idb flexfax.sw.server -F /var/spool/fax FIFO

I'm actually using the FreeBSD configuration, which calls
the bsdi install script.. I had no problems during the build,
	it's just the install...

	So:

What's a FIFO? (man mkfifo yields nothing useful...)

	What's going on?

	Can I fix this?

Thank you VERY MUCH in advance for any assistance, anyone....

Cheers, Colin.
