Linux is being ported to many architectures right now and I >think the Mac is one of them. A *Power*Mac is one of them; and according to the Linux FAQ, its still in a very early stage. There is a port of NetBSD to the Mac which is further along. Try ftp to gatekeeper.dec.com/pub/BSD/NetBSD_Mac/ I think its in Beta, I haven't tried it. There is a mailing list. Also, the comp.os.386bsd.* might be useful, even if it is a misnomer. Good Luck, Henry
