Mime-Version: 1.0 Date: Sun, 2 Oct 1994 12:42:56 GMT Lines: 20 Surfers, Recently I downloaded `xpm-3.4c.tar.gz' and compiled on my FreeBSD- 1.1.5.1. The compilation was successful, and it worked correctly. I still seem missing something. That is, there was no `libXpm.so.x. x' generated as the result of the compilation. The compilation scheme was nothing unusual -- I typed `xmkmf -a' followed by `make.' Has anybody got the current xpm library and obtained the shared library version successfully? Any comment would be appreciated. `Followup-to' field has been set to `comp.os.386bsd.questions.'
