I'm considering getting a 4-port serial card of some variety; any
experience/sources/costs appreciated.

What I'd like to start with is something that is DOS COM1/COM2
compatible on 2 ports and something else on the others; I'm not afraid
of writing BSD device drivers.  Sockets (to insert 16550's) are a must;
I don't care if the card comes with the 16550's or not, though.
