(or something like that) Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Message-ID: <JUN.94Oct7141807@fox.fax.iwa.fujixerox.co.jp> Sender: news@iwagw.iwa.fujixerox.co.jp Nntp-Posting-Host: fox.fax.iwa.fujixerox.co.jp Organization: Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd., Akasaka, Tokyo. Imagine, I'm about to compile an application, which gives a library for keep as well. e.g. libXpm. However, my copy of XFree86-2.1.1 for the FreeBSD only contained the following 6 files, none of them seeming relevant to the FreeBSD environment. Result: I only got a static library. % ls *Lib.rules ibmLib.rules sgiLib.rules sv3Lib.rules lnuxLib.rules sunLib.rules sv4Lib.rules % So, check your /usr/X386/lib/X11/config/*Lib.rules and if you find something other than the ones listed above, let me know what you got. Post/e-mail ok, I'll put a summary up later. Thanks in advance. Regards, junichi -- Junichi Kurokawa Image and Printing System Products Development Center Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd.
