My problem is that I am frequently having problems because the "news" userid is reaching its process limit. I've looked through the code, and have determined that this limit is defined in the syslimits.h include file at 40. Is there a straight forward way to change this to something higher? I edited the file and recompiled the kernel, but when I tried to boot it kept crashing during the bootup process. Any help would be appreciated.
