After a great many annoying probs on my Linux Box [ most of which are problems specific to the Slackware-reliese of Linux ], I am obliged to pose the following question: Has anyone here used both 386bsd AND Linux? Which did they prefer? This question will also be posted in the Linux newsgroup, to get both sides of the coin ;^). My main experience has been on Sun IV OS. All else being equal, the one that most closely resembles SUN IV wins. Linux is system V [bleh], but has a lot of developed aplications for it.
