Are people out there using the PCFS drivers for FreeBSD 1151 to read
and write their DOS partitions? Are you having slight trouble with
corrupted disks when writing info to the DOS partition?

I have a DOS/FreebSD box and another DOS only box. I want to use the
UNIX box to NFS serve the DOS partition to the DOS only box --
read/write. Everything is peachy (using XFS on the DOS side to get
NFS running) except that writing to the DOS partition is not quite
working. For example, files end up "0" length or have the hidden bits
set. I have noticed with problem when just xferring data from Unix to
my DOS partition, but now that I am trying to do heavy file access it
doesn't seem to be working very well.

I know that the PCFS system is considered somewhat "experimental".
How reliable is it? Is it PCFS that's messing things up, or something
else? Is it a Bad Idea to mount my DOS partition read/write?
